Making Waves on Salon Day

Ok a trip to the hair salon has officially turned into a chore! Since I have been battling my chronic dead ends I decided “enough is enough!” I asked Sarah if she wouldn’t mind coming with me and sitting with the kids while I took care of business. Sarah, great friend and mother of 2 also, happily obliged and asked if I would return the favor. We quickly made plans to make 2 appointments in which we would take turns watching each other’s kids (4 total) while we each were able to indulge in this special treat so early in the day.
The small waiting area of our local Supercuts quickly turned into a small daycare center. With games going and babies drooling other patrons were checking the sign on the door to make sure they were in the right place. I had imagined it all going different in my mind but you never can tell how an event will transpire with kids. During this stop on my list to do; it was an enjoyable experience I was glad to be able to spend with Sarah and all 4 of our kids. For the unsuspecting customers who happened to cross paths with our, what can be quite hectic, lives as stay at home moms; I apologize.
Overall I couldn’t have been more proud of how 4 kids under the age of 5 managed to be so well behaved while asked to play in the confines of such a small area without wreaking havoc. Hard work; yes. Way worth it; double yes.
Our kids were well rewarded with a trip to chic filet and lots of free time in the play area! Thanks Kids!

Thank you! This post made me giggle as you well know every trip out includes my 4 youngsters. It is a challenge but a fun one and I am glad you had a chance to get out and the kids were able to have fun and behave in the process. *Smile*
